No phone number available to call for pick up and was very late/early AM and elderly mom was outside nearly 45 minutes waiting for shuttle driver. Once picked up, everything was excellent

They gave me the wrong car said it was a 4 by4 and over charged and I had to argue and prove from Jeep dealer it wasnt to get a charge.

When we picked up our car, we got about an hour away, and the transmission went. The car was shaking horribly, wouldn’t go above 60, engine lights came on the dash. We called and they said all we could do was drive it an hour back to exchange, which felt unsafe as well as frustrating as we had a 6 hour drive ahead of us to set up a tent for camping. We went back to exchange, and I asked how we would be compensated for a car that risked our safety and had a transmission that failed immediately, and was told we could not be compensated anything. Was also told we were responsible to go fill the gas tank on the car that the transmission broke down on before they could accept it back. I just got my bill for the new car, and they charged me for pre paid gas even though we declined that and returned the second car full. Overall would NOT recommend.

They didn't have the car I reserved for, so had to choose something else, not ideal but worked. One of the tires had a slow leak, which made us nervous about driving such long distances. Reported this when I returned the car, so I hope they address it before giving to the next party.

Need better indication that this location is offstation from the airport. I had to take Uber both to and from airport. Extremely inconvenient when traveling with a large family. Van didn't get all that great fuel economy.

Was not told that there is a $25 transportation fee if dropping off after hours. That should be mentioned and added to the sub-total when booking this rental. Not sure if that's Kayak's fault or Economy. Plus, was not told that the Economy Rent a Car brand is also called Affordable Renta Car....at at the airport where reantal car pick up shuttles come, there is no Economy Rent a Car logo on the sign. So was thinking I was in the wrong place, but could not figure out where to go. Fortunately the shuttle happen to pull up as I was trying to figure out what to do. I told the driver they need to have their Economy Car Rental logo up there....he said they do....Affordable car Rental....how am I supposed to know they're the same co.??

Absolutely zero communication about where or what this place is prior to arrival. No communication about the need to provide insurance policy information. Terrible operating hours. The people are nice but that’s where the good ends. The car had damaged seats inside, damaged gear shift, expired plates, a loose rear view mirror.
