Wouldn't do the rental through kayak. Didnt have the rental anymore. Tried to rent through them while there and they raised the price $400. Hours didn't match what website had listed

There was one lady serving at reception and also cleaning cars and weekends are busy. I had requested rental car from 5/18/23@12 noon to 5/20/23@2pm but was told if I brought car at 2 they will be closed and I would be charged up to Monday 5/22/23. So I brought car back @ 11.50 but the 2 extra hour which were charged per hour was not returned. It was like it’s a crime to book through third part instead of direct- are you sure kayak is permitted to book for Hertz!!

I was given a pick up address of 268 W. Mitchell Road. I called an Uber from the airport to Mitchell Road. Hertz had not been located at this location for a year and a half. I had to catch an Uber back to the airport where I went to the Hertz counter there and got my car. I wasted $107 on Uber not to mention the hour and 10 minutes it took to go get it. Terrible job by Hertz and kayak of not communicating. How can Hertz move a year and a half ago and kayak is still sending people to this location?

The agency claimed not to have received our order. Once shown proof of its existence, the car provided had been smoked in despite my wife’s request for a non-smoking vehicle. Hertz exchanged the car, but the replacement vehicle was in poor condition and rattled consistently. This was a poor rental experience and not at all consistent of my past service from Hertz.

The office in Cincinnati was dealing with burst pipes and a cold front office, so they did the best they could under the circumstances. They actually transported me to a different office nearby to pick up my rental.

I have been a loyal customer at this location and have rented vehicles for years here. However this is the last time I will rent from this location. The agent/manager/whatever was rude, condescending, and obnixous. He made it more than obvious he treats "certain" customers much better than others. I witnessed it first hand when I came to rent the vehicle. Then when I returned the vehicle he was literally fawning over the gentlemen in front of me and DID NOT treat me the same AT ALL when I was renting the car. Also the location was absolutely filthy. I will not return.

I received a confirmation about a Mustang convertible or similar. As I arrived (in time) there was no convertible available. We’ve called your customer service and nobody was able to help me. Instead of the Mustang A received a complete different car but and it was dirty.

I ended up having to get two new cars during my rental period. The plastic undercarriage in the first car came loose (I did not hit anything or have an accident, just normal wear and tear) and started dragging the pavement three days after I picked it up. Roadside assistance provided a tow truck and a new car (2 + hours, all told), and then the second car had a flat tire one day after I started driving it (again, without me hitting anything). Roadside assistance then provided a tire change and new car (3+ hours all told). Avis is now charging me for the tow truck, although the reason I had to call the tow truck was due to their poor maintenance and upkeep of their cars (not to mention what could've been a safety issue) and through no fault of mine.

Reserved a 12 seat truck two months before my wedding. On the day of the wedding they told me that there was no trucks available in the ENTIRE city. 5 hours before my wedding.

There was nothing I liked about Budget Rental. There was 8 people in front of me when I arrived at 9:50 am for my 10:00 am pickup. There was 1 person behind the counter waiting customers. When she finally got to me, the Economy car I reserved was no longer available. I was told the only vehicle I could get was a TRUCK. I did not reserve a TRUCK, nor have I ever driven one. I am 68 years old and prefer to stick with what I am comfortable with. Furthermore, I was told there was a Kia Sportage available, which turned out to be a Mitsubishi suv. I was charged additional funds for a vehicle I did not want. I returned it one day early because I would rather ride the bus than get screwed with my clothes on.
