Our spacious garden is also excellent for children and pets BBQ. We have children's toys and lot of room to play in the green grassy garden! Haus Susanne is just a 45 min drive from Salzburg City Centre. Salzburg is famous for its Mozart connections but there is much more on offer. From the Prince Archbishop's trick water fountains, to Salzburg Zoo to a Sound of Music tour, people of all ages can enjoy the city. The castle fort and cable car ride give excellent view points over the city. In the evening there are plenty of restaurants and classical or modern concerts to enjoy. Mountain sports: Mountain biking is an especially popular sport around the valleys and mountains of Salzburg. Summer lifts can take you and your bike to the top of a mountain to either take the sensible route down or to follow the downhill circuits used by the World Cup circuit. The area is also famed for its road cycling routes, bikes can be hired locally along with cycle tours for intermediate level and above. The local adventure centres have fully guided and qualified instruction for all kinds of mountain adrenaline pumped activities. The centre is for people of all ages and offers family activities or singular activities including (among many other things) white water rafting, pot-holing, cannoning, hiking tours, paragliding and quad biking.
