Location is hard to beat. Whether you're a seasoned Londoner or visiting for a weekend, you're right in the middle of the action at the Mandrake, walkable to just about everywhere - but also in the quiet and calm when you need to be.
The TV didn't work properly
The staff were amazing. Professional, playful, they made you feel like you were on the inside of their clique. They clearly have fun at work and enjoy taking care of people and building a culture. The TV system was buggy, it was Wimbledon and world cup quarter finals, my wife had to pump in the hotel room and we missed significant sporting moments. The one thing worth knowing is that the hotel doubles as a nightlife destination at weekends, with a DJ in the bar Thursday to Saturday. Depending on your room, the noise carries until the early hours, so it’s worth requesting a quieter room away from the bar if you’re after an early night. The design of the hotel is so over the top and creepy that is not really comfortable. Very trendy and full of posers.

Great hotel, lovely terrace room with well stocked bar. Fab shower and comfy bed. Brilliant friendly room service. Uber cool bar.
Leaving to go home
The hotel is beautiful and radiates such a calm vibe. The staff were friendly and made fantastic cocktails at the bar. Our terrace room was lovely and clean with a well stocked minibar. We can't wait to go back.
