Charming b&b with lovely lounges, tea & coffee available at all hours, very welcoming
Breakfast was disappointing. Some fresh fruit available but no other options for vegans except white bagels
All of the staff were very nice and accommodating. The hotel is straight from a Victorian dream and our room was perfect for my wife and me. It is centrally located and most attractions in SF were walkable or had easy access to public transit.

Staff was very nice. Continental breakfast was sufficient. afternoon cookies & sherry was a treat. The hotel is decorated with lots of lovely antique furnishings & there was a huge 'sitting room' with fireplaces, coffee & tea 24/7. It was very enjoyable to stay in a nice hotel that seems well cared for & has interesting history posted near the elevator.
For some reason I didn't sleep well - maybe too much of a 'pillow top'? Water froze in the fridge. The stopper in the sink didn't work & I wear contac lens so need to be able to close the drain. We didn't have a view... maybe next time!
The personality of the hotel and the cookies in the afternoon
Room was dusty
Great walkable location with plenty to do nearby: food, shopping, immersing yourself in charming neighborhoods. The breakfast and afternoon sherry with biscuits was a nice touch as well. The hotel was so quiet, beds were SO comfy. No complaints!

A peaceful retreat from the city. It was like a time warp!
The buzzer to get into the hotel
The location was spectacular. Located a short walk to japantown which means very good eateries. Also a very short bike ride to Golden Gate Park (we brought our bikes to ride to Hardly Strictly Bluegrass in GG park). We also very much liked the friendly staff at the Queen Anne, they were very helpful and accomodating.
The only complaint I have is the bed was very soft for our liking and, believe it or not, it was actually warm in San Fran for beginning of october and the room was a bit warm and only one window was operable so air flow was a bit of a problem. Pretty minor id say.
Great location and really great decor. The breakfast was decent and the front desk person was nice.
I was disappointed at the bed situation. I ordered a suite because I was traveling with a teenager and another adult. I was expecting 2 places to sleep, but the sofabed was not nearly big enough for a 6 foot teenager. Also, when I asked for bedding, there was one thin blanket. I expected for the amount I paid that we would all sleep comfortably. That's it, otherwise a nice place to stay.
I loved the Victorian decor and the entertainment area.

Charming victorian hotel. A true trip into the 19th century. Friendlly staff. Easy access to SF with public transportation.
