Pros (+) Location was ideal for Rome - spanish steps, Trevi fountain, forum and collosium. All within walking distance. Staff were thoughtful and very good.

Big size of clean comfort room, small cozy inner garden with flowers, fast and easy wi-fi. Rooms with the garden view are very quite with the sun lights in the morning. Pros (+) The Hassler has the charm and style of a superb grand hotel in the old tradition but it is also right up to date. The staff is excellent and always helpful and polite. We were there 9 years ago and now that we are travelling again we will return much sooner.
Cons (-) It is a little expensive even for such a fine facility.
