The staff were lovely, the food excellent, the location extremely convenient.
The dorm was incredibly hot on the fifth floor. None of us could sleep and that made it extremely uncomfortable for me. I also am not a fan of high floors and would have loved to be given the option of a floor.

Staff and cleanliness was good as always, but there was NO FAN, the room was boiling!
The hostel is in a convenient location and I got a complimentary late check out due to my booking so I was happy with that. I regularly stay here and it's a great spot with a good vibe to it.

So I had a 4 person bed on the 4th floor. The room was clean tidy and to help with the heat they added a fan to the room
So while I was there it was full of school children. The showers are clean but do need a bit of maintaince, Although the staff were mostly friendly and helpful through the stay. I would say that they need to look at excepting cash as well as just cards for all payments

I love the location, it is really close to tube stations, the staff is helpful and easy to communicate. During heatwave, they put cold water units in reception, it was really refreshing.
The rooms are very small and it is not easy to move accurately, I was staying there during heatwave and there is no AC in the room, they provided a mobile fan yet it was not enough, it was really hot in the room especially at night.
Bar food is excellent, (try the Mac n cheese with brisket). Great location, very popular and multicultural. Shuffle boards a bonus, lots of other activities. First time in a hostel for me (I'm 52) and pleasantly surprised.
Music in the back bar was too loud and you could hear it over the music in the front bar area. Had to turn my hearing aids down lol.
