Cheers Hostel is a very friendly and lively place to stay. The staff is helpful and always ready to assist. The location is perfect, with most attractions within walking distance. Highly recommended for budget and solo travelers.
The location is great. It has a lovely social atmosphere.
There was not hot water in the shower, not during my whole stay, and from two showers that we had in the females floor, just one worked. This is the reason for my scoring. It is the most basic thing to be able to shower, and we couldn't. The room was so cold! Also, one of the two lights that were on the female dorm didn't work during my whole stay, so we had to use our phone lanterns.
Great location in a beautiful area, close to all the main attractions. The hostel has an amazing atmosphere with very friendly and welcoming staff. The manager is incredibly responsive and shows genuine empathy towards guests. It feels like home, with a true sense of community. Compared to other hostels, it’s lively and full of people, even outside of peak season.
Warmly recommended! I had a private room in a separate building, but I was coming over to the Cheers hostel for breakfast and amazing view from the bar. I like the hostel atmosphere and people managing it. I heard many great tips on what to see and how to make it work. Breakfast was great and I slept very well - my room was quiet and clean.
Everything was beyond amazing at my stay here. The staff were extremely warm and welcoming, they made sure you felt like home. As a first time solo traveler I felt safe and secure staying at this hostel. I would recommend this stay for anyone looking to make friends and socialize.
